I have think I have improved because I have learned to draw in one point perspective correctly. My lines are straighter and my art is more neat. I also learned how to make great details that make the difference.
I had a few problems. One was my bench was difficult to draw, but I asked Mrs. Ruggles and she helped me and I figured it out. Another problem I had was having a variety of color in my city but I tried to change the colors of my buildings and it worked.
I am very happy with my art. I feel I have improved so much. I'm glad how it turned out.
The reason I came up with this idea is because when I think of world peace I think of flags and a peace sign. I wanted to have a world and a peace sign too. I came up with my flags because of the colors. In my before piece I had too many red flags so I changed it.
I had many problems. One was I didn't like the look of colored pencil, so I painted it instead. Painting was difficult, I had paint on my hand then I would lay it down and it would be a mess. When I was close to being done, I made little touch ups and fixed all my errors.
